Our staff strives to assist our churches in fulfilling the Great Commission through missions, evangelism and leadership development.

Bob came faith in Jesus Christ in 1978 through the ministry of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was ordained at Belle Rive Baptist Church in 1985 both churches who are right here in Salem South. He has served as our Associational Mission Strategist since September 2023. He retired from the North American Mission Board after serving for twenty-two years. Prior to that he had served as a church planter, pastor and staff in churches. By way of education, he completed his Bachelors of Religious Studies from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO (1982), his Masters of Religious Education at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO (1985) and his Doctorate in Religious Education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY (2010).

Bob is married to his wife Dana and they have three boys as well as three daughter in laws. They are also blessed with three grandchildren. Mount Vernon is his home town and his roots are deep in Salem South. The Lord led him to come out of retirement to serve this association. He seeks to have a Barnabas heart for pastors along with a strong passion to help churches be healthy and join with God on His mission to reach a lost world for Jesus Christ.

Robin has faithfully served the churches of SSBA for over 23 years. She manages the office, produces the publications and keeps the financial records.
